JokerPrice for AI assistants

The JokerPrice MCP server lets Claude, Codex, Cursor and other Model Context Protocol clients look up markets, occupancy, revenue estimates and listings across the Gulf and Egypt, and answer with real figures.

How it works

Read-only

8 tools that only read data. Nothing changes in your account or on any platform.

Hosted or local

Connect to https://www.staytrend.ai/mcp with your key and nothing to install, or run the server on your own machine over stdio. Both read the same data as the REST API, with your personal key.

Same limits

Your plan’s API limits, 120 a minute and 25,000 a day during the free trial, with plain messages when reached.

Tools

ToolWhat it answers
list_marketsEvery destination with at least 20 collected listings: slug, listing counts by source, asking-rate quartiles in SAR, and tracked occupancy, ADR and revenue where calendars are tracked. Assistants call it first to find slugs.
get_marketFull report for one destination: supply, bedroom price bands, property mix, average rating, and tracked occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, revenue per listing, on-the-books share, weekday and monthly breakdowns and lead times.
get_metricsOccupancy, ADR, RevPAR, monthly revenue per listing and on-the-books share for a city or rectangle, with weekday, monthly and lead-time breakdowns.
list_listingsCollected listings with source, title, district, type id, bedrooms, coordinates, last asking rate in SAR, rating out of 10 and URL. The assistant pages with nextCursor.
estimate_revenueProjected nightly rate, occupancy and monthly and annual revenue from nearby comparables and tracked calendars, or 40%, 55% and 70% scenarios when occupancy is not measured.
get_trendsDaily history for one destination and metric from stored snapshots, with changes against 7, 30 and 90 days earlier where history allows.
get_market_paceOn-the-books share for each stay date in the next 30 days, its 7- and 14-day pickup, and the average booking curve by days before arrival. Collecting until a week of snapshots exists.
get_eventsSourced local holidays and events for the markets covered, with Arabic and English names, dates, certainty and source links, for demand and pricing questions.

Clients

Claude

Claude Desktop and Claude Code.

Codex

The Codex CLI and IDE extension.

Other clients

Cursor and any client that connects to remote (Streamable HTTP) servers or starts stdio servers.

Get started

  • A JokerPrice API key from Data & API.
  • Hosted server: an MCP client that connects to remote (Streamable HTTP) servers and can send a request header. Nothing to install.
  • Local server, as an alternative: Node.js 20 or newer and the mcp/ folder of the JokerPrice repository, with npm install run once inside it.

Start free trial

With a key, one command connects Claude Code to the hosted server:

Shell
claude mcp add --transport http jokerprice https://www.staytrend.ai/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer ss_your_key_here"

Then follow Setup. Not sure whether MCP or the REST API suits you? Read MCP vs REST API.
